Deputy Chairman of National Committee for Combatting Human Trafficking Faisal al Henzab has reiterated that the State of Qatar is free of human trafficking.
Highlighting Qatar's political will to promote and protect human rights during the 5th Interpol Global Conference on Trafficking in Human Beings and Smuggling of Migrants in Doha on Wednesday, Henzab said that fighting human trafficking is a strategy for Qatar, the backbone of the country's comprehensive reform policy.
Henzab said Qatar's keenness to fight human trafficking is reflected in its institutional and legislative reforms in line with Qatar National Vision 2030.
He said Qatar will work with all involved and support all efforts of the international community to combat human trafficking.
