Temperature to drop to 11 degree during weekend

Qatar will witness a noticeable drop in temperature during the weekend as the expected minimum temperature will be between 11'b0 C and the maximum between 20 and 24'b0 C in many areas, according to a forecast by the Meteorological Department.
The Meteorological Department has called on residents to take precautions and avoid sea activities during the period.
According to the department, the country will also experience fresh to strong wind in many areas from Friday morning to Sunday.
Wind speed is expected to range between 15 and 25 knots gusting to 30 knots inshore and ranging from 18 to 25 knots gusting to 35 knots offshore, sea height ranges during this period between 7 and10 feet and reaches 12 feet in some areas, the department has forecast.
