THE Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) recently organised a workshop to train a number of health practitioners on vaccination services and supervising its side effects.
The workshop aimed to develop the skills of healthcare staff at various private and public sector health facilities to detect and report the side effects of vaccinations as they occur and minimise them.
The Ministry's Director of Public Health Department HE Sheikh Dr Mohamed bin Hamad al Thani, confirmed the Ministry's continuous efforts to develop the quality of health services including the vaccination provided to the residents and citizens of Qatar. He also underscored the Ministry's keenness to continue training of health personnel in Qatar in the private and public sector.
For her part, the Ministry's Head of Vaccination, Dr Soha al Bayat, said the national programme for vaccination aims to develop the skills and knowledge of the health practitioners working in vaccination services in the private and public sectors. (QNA)
