QATAR Cancer Society (QCS) has launched an 'electronic collection system' at 21 collection sites to make donations to the organisation easier.

She stressed the importance of donations in supporting cancer patients and fighting cancer, and urged everybody to join hands to raise awareness of the disease and contribute to treatment of patients.
"Some collection sites have also been provided with screens to display awareness videos and to promote the importance of early detection of cancer. The remaining collection sites will also get display screens soon,"Noaimi said.
In conjunction with the launch, a training course was organised for Cancer Awareness Promoters to enhance their skills in marketing methods for collection and make them aware of various aspects of the disease. (TNN)
