PEOPLE living with diabetes should take part in regular physical exercises for better blood sugar control and reduction of the risk of cardiovascular diseases, advised Dr Sheikh Mohamed al Thani of the Supreme Council of Health (SCH). He said, "Exercise is very important in managing diabetes. Combination of good diet, exercise and prescribed medicine can help control weight and blood sugar level." QSports tourney winners get trophies
THE Al Wakrah Sports Stadium hosted the finals of the QSports Ramadan competition with several men´s and women´s teams being rewarded for their success in a variety of tournaments that have been run by QSports during the holy month of Ramadan. Trophies and medals were presented to the champions, runners up and third place teams who participated in basketball, volleyball, cricket and soccer leagues.
