final match of the MoI
Ramadan football championship.
The tourney was organised
by the Qatar Police Sports
Federation (QPSF) for various
MoI departments at
Aspire stadium.

TENDER Touches Team of
Qatar Center for Voluntary
Activity (QCVA) recently held
an iftar for Rumailah Hospital
patients. The iftar was
part of a Ramadan activity.
Salwa Sultan, director of
Tender Touches Team, said
that her team endeavoured to
organise many events during
the month of fasting. The
objective of the event is to
bring joy to the patients
admitted in hospitals. And
this year the team held a gala
dinner for the patients.
Salwa added that the team
will carry on with such support
activities for the benefit
of patients during Ramadan.
The QCVA team, she said,
would also organise the closing
ceremony of the Holy
Quran recitation event by the
end of the holy month, where
religious scholars are expected

celebration recently. The
main objective of the celebration
was to bring together
employees from across the
country under one roof.
One of the highlights of the
event was a special ceremony
which saw participants in the
Refaq programme felicitated for
their support for the initiative.
Refaq — a volunteer-driven
programme which has seen
teams refurbish dilapidated
houses — has brought together
a total of 70 volunteers,
who have taken part in repairing
and restoring homes,
and distributing special
vouchers to needy families.
