Ali bin Fahad al Hajri on Thursday
said Qatar was keen to find an end
to the humanitarian tragedy in
Syria.
Speaking at the third meeting of
the Friends of the Syrian People
International Working Group on
Sanctions, Hajri said Qatar.

Company (UDC) recently
sponsored a consultancy
project by Qatar Foundation
students aiming to empower
young minds in the fields of
business and innovation.
The participating students
included Virginia
Commonwealth University
Qatar (VCUQ) design majors
and engineering majors from
Texas A&M University in
Qatar.
Each consultancy group
was tasked to create a corporate
social responsibility
(CSR) campaign for the Pearl-
Qatar following a thorough
presentation of the project
model, as well as the environment
and CSR programmes
in place.
In addition to a written proposal,
each team presented to
the members of UDC´s corporate
communications department

for MoI officers´ children | THE annual summer activities
organised by the Qatar
Police Sports Federation
(QPSF) for Ministry of
Interior (MoI) officers´ children
for the fifth year in a row
started recently.
The activities will feature
many entertainment, sports
and cultural activities. Visits
to various security departments
and state institutions
would be held as part of the
programme. Children aged
between 6 and 12 years old
will participate in the activities
under the supervision of
trainers from the Qatar Police
Sports Federation.
On the first day, there were
introductory programmes
during which the children
introduced themselves and

safety, security and self
