QU launches two masters courses
QATAR University´s College of Sharia and Islamic Studies (CSIS) on Monday launched two new Masters´ programmes - Quranic Sciences and Tafseer as well as Fiqh and Usul Al Fiqh. CSIS Dean Dr Aisha al Mannai outlined the details of the programmes and their role in contributing to the country´s development. The two-year programmes, which will begin in Fall this year, are the first of their kind in Qatar. They are designed to produce a cadre of specialists.
