Stenden students organise charity dinner

STUDENTS of Stenden University organised ‘A Year to Remember’, a charity gala dinner to celebrate the end of the academic year for all universities in Qatar at Katara recently. The main objective of the event was to raise funds for various social community projects. The students showcased a spectacular performance which encompassed four different dance performances from different countries.

The event was organised by the students of international business and management studies as part of their study programme. The course was recently approved by the Supreme Education Council.

This fouryear bachelor programme is taught in English. Admission is open until the end of August for studies that will be starting in September. The closing event of the evening was marked by the presence of the popular Arab superstar Ali Abdulsatar.

The Stenden University staff expressed gratitude to the sponsors who made the event a success. They included Yammani Contracting Co, RB Eyewear, Damas, iSpace, Chooy Goowy, Dippingo Chocolate Lounge and Qatar Vinyl Company, the main sponsor of the event.
