25 massacred in Syria; Turkish plane missing
THE Syrian regime on Friday accused rebels of carrying out a “brutal massacre” of 25 of its supporters, as neighbouring Turkey held emergency talks after a Turkish military plane went missing near Syria. TWO bombs tore through a market full of shoppers in Baghdad on Friday, killing 19 people and wounding more than 100, authorities said, the latest attack in the second-deadliest month since US troops withdrew at the end of last year.
