THE Ministry of Interior (MoI) has announced Abdullah Abdulghani & Bros Company as the main official sponsor of the Milipol Qatar 2012, which will take place between October 8 and 19. QATAR University (QU) has announced that the 4th Annual Action Research Conference of College of Education (CED) will be held on June 23. The conference, which will be organised jointly with the Supreme Education Council (SEC), will address the "best practices for schools in Qatar". Rivals claim victory in Egypt
EGYPT’s two rival presidential candidates on Monday claimed victory with about 52 per cent of votes. The Muslim Brotherhood announced the victory of its candidate Mohamed Morsi early on Monday. Hours later, Ahmed Shafiq’s campaign said their candidate had secured 52 per cent of the vote.
India outlook negative: Fitch
FITCH Ratings downgraded India’s credit outlook from stable to negative on Monday, saying that the country’s growth potential will deteriorate without a quickening of structural reforms.
