HNS contingency plans |  QATAR hosted the regional
workshop on national and
regional hazardous and noxious
substance (HNS) recently.
The workshop was organised
by the Permanent
Committee for Emergency of
the Ministry of Interior in
association with the
International Maritime
Organisation (IMO) and
Marine Emergency Mutual
Aid Centre (MEMAC).
The four-day workshop
was attended by delegations
from GCC countries, representatives
of the Permanent
Committee for Emergencies
and experts from the IMO.
