Qatar Charity gives QR400,000 incentive to contest winners
QATAR Charity (QC) on Sunday gave QR400,000 incentive awards to the winners of the competitions to promote moral values among high school students in the country. Twenty-five independent schools participated in the competitions titled ´I Snafe´ and ´the gift of Wind´ for boys and girls respectively. ´Snafe´ is an Arabic word used to praise and eulogise a trustworthy and reliable youth. Qatar Academy graduates grade five students
QATAR Academy (QA) held a colourful grade five completion ceremony for its students recently. The event served as a reflection of the years the students spent under the Primary Years Programme (PYP) of this IB World School. QTA, Cirque in pact for Saltimbanco show
QATAR Tourism authority (QTA) on Monday announced its support for renowned Canada-based entertainment company, Cirque du Soleil to stage its 20- year-old signature production, Saltimbanco in Doha. The action packed performance is scheduled to run from July 4-7 at the Aspire Dome. The QTA is working with SDI Marketing to bring the extravaganza to Qatar.
