BHAVAN´S Public School (BhPS) launched an Eco Club at Matar Qadeem campus on June 5 to mark the World Environment Day. KM Arunan, director board member of BhPS, was the chief guest on the occasion. QIIB mulls sale of Islamic Bank of Britain
QIIB, the parent company of Islamic Bank of Britain, is considering the sale of the UK’s only sharia-compliant retail lender. IBB confirmed it had received an approach by QIIB, which currently owns a controlling 88.41% stake, to take over the remaining shares with a view to a possible sale as it considers the future of the UK bank.
Vodafone Qatar loss narrows as users, revenues rise
VODAFONE Qatar reported a narrowing fourth-quarter net loss on Thursday as its revenue and subscriber base rose. The telecoms operator made a net loss of QR126.6 million ($34.78 million) in the three months to March 31. This compares with a loss of QR143.9 million in the year-earlier period.
