the World Gas Conference
(WGC) in Kuala Lumpur,
Malaysia.
The triennial event, also
known as the ´Olympics of the
gas industry´ brings together

projects for Syrian refugees | QATAR Charity (QC) has
announced three new health
projects for Syrian refugees in
Lebanon at a cost of up to
QR2.1 million. This is part of
its campaign titled, ´Syria
cries for help´.
One of the projects provides
a stockpile of medicines
and medical supplies for
2,000 sick and injured people
for two months. This project
costs QR817,000.
Another project treats the
wounded and sick victims of
Syria, covering medical
expenses for 300 wounded
and sick people, at a cost of
QR711,000.
In the third project, Qatar
Charity provides isolated
operations like room for
inflammatory and soiled
operations, and to deal with
fracture and burning injuries.
