QE halts two-session decline, rises 27 points
QATAR’S bourse halted a two-session decline, with the gas exporter’s bullish economy making it a defensive play for some regional investors amid global market turmoil. The Qatar Exchange benchmark index rose 27 points to 8,490 points.
QMA unveils Gandhi’s ‘Three Monkeys’ at Katara
THE Qatar Museums Authority has unveiled three new sculptures by Indian artist Subodh Gupta at Katara, the Cultural Village. Gandhi’s ‘Three Monkeys’, 2008, made from bronze, steel, and old utensils refer to India’s famous hero of peace, Mahatma Gandhi.
