IABJ hosts lecture on trauma

TRIBUNE NEWS NETWORK

DOHA AN awareness lecture on ‘trauma management & injury’ was held at Indian Cultural Center, in Doha, recently. This was part of a new initiative taken by Indian Association for Bihar and Jharkhand (IABJ).

The awareness lecture was given by Sajid Atique, an eminent doctor of Hamad Medical Hospital. A large number of Indian expatriates attended this informative lecture.

It was for the first time that such an awareness event was organised by IABJ.

Speaking on the occasion, Atique, an IABJ patron, briefed the attendees about the concept of this new initiative.

Atique also talked in detail about how some young members came to him with this idea and expressed their willingness to organise such an event. According to him, since knowledge is the buzzword today, IABJ is always willing to associate with any event which helps create the general awareness among us. Hence, both Atique and Shakil, president of IABJ, readily agreed to the idea. He also informed us that from now on, IABJ was planning to organise this kind of lecture on different topics every month.

Later, Kakvi, president of IABJ, has shared his thought and praised the organisation’s young members for taking the lead and starting this awareness campaign.
