BY now, nearly everyone has
heard of the BRICS (Brazil,
Russia, India, China and South
Africa). Less known are the
CIVETS (Colombia, Indonesia,
Vietnam, Egypt, Turkey and South
Africa) and MIST (Mexico, Indonesia,
South Korea and Turkey).
These acronyms are the product of... |

shelved products |
IT started with a Chanel lip gloss.
After learning that her favourite
shade, a light golden brown called
Brick, was being discontinued,
Jennifer Fisherman-Ruff bought
up the remaining 37-piece stock of the
product at Henri Bendel. That was a little
more than 15 years ago. Since then,
Fisherman-Ruff, 42, a publicist in the

Fox TV this fall |
BRITNEY Spears and Demi
Lovato are joining the panel
of judges on The X Factor
this fall, part of Fox´s effort
to boost its underperforming
music competition shows.
The network´s executives also promised
changes for American Idol. While
Idol remains Fox´s centrepiece, as it has

with guest stars Kate Hudson and
Sarah Jessica Parker and touting a
midseason drama starring Kevin Bacon
as "the new 24."
The Spears announcement overshadowed
the others. Despite weeks of
rumours, it wasn´t official until she ... | | | Katrina can´t pick

But she was reticent on

"It doesn´t make sense to

when asked to pick her

"If you ask any of the

will feel bad. Everyone is

are icons and legends in

enough to be working
with them. It´s been great
so far.
