| | Injaz launches BLC programme | INJAZ Qatar, a non-profit
organisation and affiliate of
Junior Achievement (JA),
has recently developed the
Business Leaders´ Campaign
(BLC) programme in collaboration
with its partners said
an Injaz press release on
Saturday.
According to the release,
the programme, which is
delivered by nine local business
leaders from a diverse
range of sectors, is currently
being run across five local
independent schools and two
universities and will continue
until the end of the year.

recently launched a
partnership to support entrepreneurship
and facilitate
private sector growth in
Qatar.
According to a press
release issued on Saturday,
the first mentoring project of
the partnership is scheduled
for September and it will be
run in collaboration with the
Social Development Centre
(SDC) in Qatar.
Enterprise Qatar´s objective
is to build a flourishing
SME sector within Qatar
through partnerships that
create a supportive environment
to enable innovative
entrepreneurs to succeed.

GEORGETOWN University´s
School of Foreign Service in Qatar
(SFS-Q) celebrated the graduation
of its fourth undergraduate class in
an official commencement ceremony
held at Grand Hyatt Hotel
on Saturday.
Altogether 31 students — 20 of
whom majored in international politics
while 11 majored in culture and
politics — collected their degrees in
front of an audience of over 500
family members and friends.
The graduates represent 16
nationalities from around the globe,
creating a multinational culture of
diverse networks and partnerships
