The Lucky One
"OF course they killed someone,"
I overheard a young
woman say to her friend
after a screening of The
Lucky One. "It´s a Nicholas
Sparks movie." And how. This is the seventh
of Sparks´ wildly popular novels to reach the
screen, and it seems useful, in the interests of ...

| | Family dinner is time to open up | GROWING up in the ´70s, I sat
down to a family dinner that
was consistent with my parents´
child-rearing philosophy
at the time, which my
mother likes to call "benign neglect."
Over dinner, my father briefed my mother
on the ins and outs of his day at the
office, while my siblings and I zoned out
or piped up or fought over why my older
sister always got the corner seat. We sat
down as a family to a good, healthy meal,

and ready to mingle | FORM an orderly queue, chaps... Cheryl Cole has
revealed that she is desperate to become a mother
– and has found a provocative way to get the message
across. The 28-year-old singer posed for a

leather jacket, matching skirt and barely-there white
top. The former X Factor judge split from her footballer
husband Ashley Cole in February 2010 after marrying
four years earlier.
The couple has not yet divorced, but in the interview
she describes herself as single.
Which could be good news for 27-year-old... | | | Parineeti to try her luck
at singing in future | ACTRESS Parineeti Chopra, who is
busy promoting her second
release Ishaqzaade, says she is a
trained singer and might take up
singing seriously in future.
"I am a trained singer. My guruji´s name is
Nidhi Narag, she is my guruji in Ambala. I
had learnt music for almost six years. I have
done a BA (hons) in music," Parineeti told
reporters recently.
"I don´t want to sing right now. I have just
started acting. I think after five or six years,
when I feel I have got grip on acting and I
don´t need to practice anymore, I will sing,"
added the actress, who made her debut with
Ladies Vs Ricky Behl.

Boney Kapoor´s son Arjun... | |
