QOC to support rugby in Qatar

DOHA QATAR Olympic Committee Secretary-General Sheikh Saoud bin Abdulrahman al Thani praised the achievement of Qatar’s rugby team after it claimed the title of the HSBC Asian 5 Nations Championship-Division IV held in Dubai, the UAE, recently.

Speaking at an honouring ceremony at Qatar Rugby Association headquarters on Tuesday, he also assured all support for its development in Qatar.

Sheikh Mohammed bin Faisal al Thani, the QRA president, Jamal Suleiman al Abdullah, the QRA secretary general, Khalil al Jaber, director of QOC’s Sport Affairs, Tarek Said al Abdullah, the QRA board member and Issa al Harami, the head of federations section, also attended the function.
