Saudi recalls envoy to Egypt
SAUDI ARABIA on Saturday recalled its ambassador to Egypt after angry protests outside its embassy over an arrested Egyptian lawyer, sparking a diplomatic spat. State news agency SPA said the embassy in Cairo as well as the kingdom’s consulates in Alexandria and Suez were closed. The measures were in response to demonstrations outside its missions in Egypt.
Bomb blast kills 10 Afghan police personnel
