English Literacy (RAEL)
programme hosted a
´Reflection Event´ to recognise
the outstanding achievements
of Education City´s
low-skilled workers and volunteer
student tutors at the
Education City Student
Centre, on Wednesday.
At the event, students and
migrant workers received
awards and certificates for
participating in the 2011/2012
RAEL programme, the third
and most successful ROTA
Adult English Literacy
Program to date.
During the current academic
year, ROTA has implemented
the RAEL programme
in partnership with
three Education City universities.

Hospital will pay tribute to
nurses worldwide by celebrating
the annual
International Nursing Day on
May 10, said a press release
from the hospital on
Wednesday.
According to the release,
Aspetar will specifically
focus on nursing within the
sports medicine field at this
year´s edition of the event in
accordance with its vision to
be a leader in sports medicine
by 2015.
International Nursing Day
is celebrated globally on May
12 every year, on the anniversary
of the birth of Florence
Nightingale who is widely
recognised as an important
founder of modern nursing.

graduate its first student class
in an inaugural ceremony at
the Qatar National Convention
Centre on May 9.
Thirty-six students will
receive Bachelor of Science
