Krieger introduced a photosharing
iPhone application
called Instagram. In a matter
of hours, thousands downloaded
it. The computer systems handling
the photos kept crashing. Neither
knew what to do.
Systrom then remembered Adam
D´Angelo, a former chief technology officer
at Facebook. They had met at a party
seven years earlier. That night in October
2010, D´Angelo became Instagram´s lifeline.
"Adam spent like 30 minutes on the
phone with us," Systrom recalled, "walking
us through the basic things we needed
to do to get back up."

powerful box office fame to draw attention

humanitarian disasters, the UN
refugee agency UNHCR said on
Tuesday.
Jolie, who has already served more than 10
years as goodwill ambassador for the UN High
Commissioner for Refugees, is taking on a new
role as special envoy for large-scale crises that
cause huge numbers of civilians to flee their
homelands.
She is expected to concentrate on complex
emergencies and protracted refugee crises
including Afghanistan and Somalia which have
driven millions of people into neighbouring
countries, the UNHCR said.

Fakhri had to wait it out after her
debut. Luckily, Akshay Kumar has stepped
in to save the damsel in distress, and has
signed her on for his home production Khiladi
786, which he is co-producing with Himesh
Reshammiya.
Fakhri, who starts shooting for the film in June,
will play Khiladi´s love interest. A close friend of
the actress said, "She will be donning ultra-glam
clothes in the film. It´s a very sexy avatar."
Apparently, Fakhri has had her meetings
with Akshay and understood the role well. Said
