and subjects on display and
being represented at Qatar
Academy´s annual
International Baccalaureate
(IB) Visual Arts Exhibition
which opened on its senior
school campus on Tuesday.
All together, twenty-four
graduating students showcased
over 250 art works on
the theme ´Cultural
Exploration´. The collection
features diverse mediums like
ceramics, oil and acrylic,
mixed media and printing.
According to Visual and

the works are products of two

training and advisory services
for social institutions in
Qatar, in Doha, on Monday.
The ceremony held under
the patronage of the
President of the Supreme
Council for Family Affairs HE
Sheikha Hessa bint Hamad al
Thani was attended by officials
of the Supreme Council
for Family Affairs and other
national social institutions as
well as government and private
institutions engaged in
social work.

Khalifa al Thani left Rome on Tuesday. He
wrapped up a two-day visit to Italy, heading
to Malta for a one-day visit.
Earlier on Tuesday, HH the Emir and Her
Highness Sheikha Moza met with Mayor of
Rome Gianni Alemanno and his wife
Isabella Rauti at the seat of the Municipality
of Rome in the Piazza del Campidoglio.
During the meeting, they reviewed a set of
issues of common concern.
Their highnesses were also escorted by
several members of the official delegation
accompanying HH the Emir.
