Attiyah to build team to groom young Qatari drivers
QATARI star Nasser bin Saleh al Attiyah is planning to form his own team to groom local rally drivers in future. At the sidelines of the Sealine Cross-Country Rally, which had a ceremonial start at the Corniche on Monday, the 2011 Dakar Rally champion said that he was going ahead strongly with idea of owning the team and had already got the backing of the Qatari government about it. Sealine Rally begins with ceremonial start in Doha
QATAR´S new Sealine Cross- Country Rally officially got underway at Doha´s scenic Corniche on Monday afternoon. Twenty-five cars, 29 motorcycles and 11 quads lined up at the start of the largest event of its kind ever to run through Qatar. The rally will run through the Qatar deserts over the next five days with the finish scheduled on Saturday at 4 pm.
