Egypt intervenes to end Sudan confrontation over oil
EGYPT is mounting a diplomatic offensive to defuse tensions between Sudan and South Sudan that have raised fears the two former civil war foes could return to a fullblown conflict. Egypt´s Foreign Minister Mohamed Kamel Amr arrived at Khartoum airport on Sunday for talks after the two countries clashed during the past week for control of an oil field. Growing US economy will pull down jobless rate: Geithner
US TREASURY Secretary Tim Geithner said on Sunday said that US unemployment numbers, which stalled earlier this month, could resume their decline ahead of November´s election in which the economy will top voters´ concerns.
