HMC renovates, gets new male area

DOHA THE Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) is renovating and enhancing its facilities to ensure it continues to offer the highest standards in healthcare to patients in a safe and modern environment.

On Sunday, the new ‘male see and treat’ area in Hamad General Hospital’s (HGH) emergency department was opened to the public.

The ‘male see and treat’ area will be located in the old dialysis unit and will feature a dedicated drop-off area for male patients.

Access to the emergency department for female patients and for patients transported to the emergency department by the ambulance service will remain unchanged.

During the renovations the HGH emergency department will remain open at all times and it will be business as usual.

HMC has thanked patients and visitors for their patience in the course of the renovation works.
