QNB wins ‘Best SME Card’ award

TRIBUNE NEWS NETWORK

DOHA QNB’S cash deposit card for business banking customers has won the award for ‘Best SME Card’ at the Banker Middle East Product Awards 2012.

The winners were announced at a gala dinner in Dubai in the presence of banking professionals from around the region.

The winners were selected by registered users of CPI Financial in a four-week online voting process.

Historically the awards have been judged by more than 10,000 unique voters making this event one of the most widely known and credible in the banking sector.

According to the bank, its cash deposit card is designed to allow business banking customers, including small and medium enterprise (SME) owners, the flexibility of having their accounts credited instantly when depositing cash around the clock through a company representative or messenger.

To provide additional functionality, the cards are available in two variants: one that requires a PIN code to make cash deposits and enables access to account information, and a second card option that allows the deposit of cash without displaying any account information.

Both cards provide a deposit slip to confirm the free of charge deposit to a QNB corporate account.

QNB’s business banking customers also benefit from crucial banking support and advisory services including a range of products, including overdrafts, commercial loans, vehicle loans, letters of credit, L/Gs among other products and services that benefit this segment of the economy.

In addition, QNB’s business banking customers also have access to the Bank’s corporate electronic banking services which allows corporate clients to conduct their daily banking transactions via a secure internet portal.

Companies can access services such as account balance and reporting, accounts receivables and accounts payables management with real time information to operate their day to day corporate business in an effective and efficient manner.

The instant reporting of inward receipts or credits and SWIFT advice for beneficiaries, placement of corporate fixed deposits and foreign exchange transactions are some of the core features of QNB’s corporate internet banking service.

The business banking department also has dedicated account relationship officers available to help customers round the clock.
