delegation, led by
renowned international football
player Ronald de Boer,
will be in Qatar this month.
The delegation will introduce
the expertise of Dutch
companies in infrastructure
and sports facilities to the
organisers of the 2022 FIFA
World Cup, the Doha 2020
Olympic Bid Committee and
developers involved in large
infrastructure projects.
Speaking on the visit,
Ambassador of Netherlands to
Qatar HE John Groffen said
that the team´s visit would be
from March 25 to 28.
He said, "During the visit,
the delegation will meet with
the organizing committee of
the 2022 World Cup and
infrastructure development

officials visited the trauma
section of the Hamad Medical
Corporation (HMC) as part of
the 28th GCC Traffic Week
activities recently.
The HMC organised the
programme to enlighten the
visitors on the healthcare and
rehabilitation services it provides
to victims of road traffic
accidents. The delegation was
received by Hamad Nasser al
Khalifa, chief of facilities and
workforce development at
HMC, and Dr Hassan al
Thani, senior consultant and
head of trauma and vascular
surgery.
In a lecture at Ibn Al Nafees
Hall of Women´s Hospital, Dr
al Thani discussed the health
problems caused by road traffic

OVER 5,000 people attended
the 8th Diplomatic
Bazaar, a multicultural charity
exhibition organised by
the Social Development
Center (SDC), a member of
Qatar Foundation for
Education, Science and
Community Development,
at Katara, the Cultural
Village, recently.
The two-day event brought
attractions from all over the
world to Qatar with 25
embassies in the country
showcasing cultural and traditional
artifacts.
Funds raised from this
year´s exhibition will be allocated
to the centre´s vocational
training and development
department, which
provides training for individuals
to improve their
knowledge and skills in their
