university students on WMD | GEORGETOWN University
School of Foreign Service in
Qatar (SFSQ) together with
Qatar National Committee for
the Prohibition of Weapons
(NCPW) hosted an awareness
workshop on weapons of
mass destruction (WMD) for
university students on its
campus in Education City on
Thursday.
Held under the auspices of
the Chief of Staff of the Qatari
Armed Forces Major-General
HE Hamad bin Ali al Attiyah,
the first workshop focused on
university students was
geared to create awareness of
international conventions on
WMD including nuclear,
chemical and biological
weapons.

leadership programme | TWENTY-one women students of
law at Qatar University´s College of
Law took part in the college´s first
Women in Law Leadership
Development Programme recently.
The students benefitted from 32
hours of training designed to prepare
them for leadership roles in the legal
profession.
The programme was launched in
2011 in partnership with the American
Bar Association Rule of Law Initiative
(ABA-ROLI). The main objective
was to expose College of Law students
to training at an experts´ level
in the field of law, administration and
executive development.
