| | PSD, Al Mana sign agreement
for new school building design | THE Philippine School Doha
(PSD) and Al Mana Design
Consultants International
(AMDCI) on Tuesday signed
an agreement for the design
of the new school building
which will be constructed on a
14,375 square metre plot of
land in Mesaimeer area.
Signatories to the agreement
were PSD Principal
Alexander Acosta and
AMDCI Corporate Manager
Savio D Conceicao.
According to Luis L
Raymundo, project manager
at Al Mana Designs, the new
PSD building will have a
ground plus two floors and a
basement. It will feature
semi-modern designs incorporating
traditional Qatari
aesthetics with some Filipino

NEARLY 6,000 units in
Barwa City are now connected
with fibre-to-the-home
(FTTH) infrastructure delivered
by Qatar National
Broadband Network
Company (Q.NBN), ahead of
schedule. Work is also underway
to connect Barwa
Commercial Avenue to the
network.
The development marks a
key milestone in the government-
backed company´s
agreement with property
giant Barwa Real Estate. The
agreement signed in
September 2011 aims to deliver
next-generation connectivity
solutions to all residential
and commercial tenants of
Barwa projects.
