Mannai gets Microsoft award

DOHA MANNAI Corporation was awarded the ‘Impact Award 2012’ by Microsoft Corporation at the recently concluded Microsoft Open Door event at the Qatar National Convention Centre (QNCC).

Mannai was nominated in four categories and was adjudged winner for its market coverage and business empowerment utilising Microsoft technologies, thereby creating a significant impact on Qatar’s ICT arena.

Mannai Executive Director Khalid Mannai received the award from Bruno Delamarre, Microsoft Small to Mid-Market Solutions and Partners Director – Gulf, during the event.

“I would like to congratulate Mannai on winning the ‘Impact Award 2012’ at the Microsoft Customer and Partner Awards. Mannai’s success reflects its high spirit of innovation and leadership in technology,” said Mamoun al Bishtawi, SMS&P lead – Qatar.

“Microsoft Qatar is committed long-term to its partner’s success. In Qatar, Microsoft is helping partners with business performance through the opportunities of Cloud service amongst others,” he said.

“This milestone demonstrates our commitment to deliver leading solutions and services to our valued customers.

We believe that our partnership with Microsoft would further deepen our commitment to provide innovative and robust solutions to meet market demand, together with the goal of helping customers realise optimal returns from their IT investments”, said Moni George, GM – IS, Mannai Software Division.

The award is a testimony to Mannai’s contribution towards the successful execution of Arab Games. Mannai was the complete ICT provider for the games that involved an integrated solution, covering hardware, networks, and application software during the games.

Microsoft announced the 2012 Qatar partner awards to recognise its top partners and customers and to acknowledge their efforts in the field of technology.
