QATAR will take part in the upcoming Asian Cricket Council Under-16 Championship, to be played in Chiang Mai, Thailand. The feature of the team is that three Qatari boys have been selected in the national squad for the first time. The Qatari boys are Khalid al Ansari, Abdul Rahman Saadi and Mohammed Humaid. The event will be held in Chiang Mai from March 3 to 10. Apart from Qatar, five other national teams are also contesting in the championship.
