(QMSF) begins a hectic three weeks of
international marine sports competition
with this weekend´s UIM-ABP Aquabike
Grand Prix of Qatar.
The event is being organised by the
QMSF under the presidency of Sheikh
Hassan bin Jabor al Thani, in collaboration
with H20 Racing and under the auspices
of the UIM.
The Aquabike bonanza precedes the
2012 Qatar Grand Prix, the opening
round of the UIM F1 H20 World
Championship, on March 9 to and the
Pearl Qatar Grand Prix, the opening
round of the prestigious UIM Class 1
World Powerboat Championship, on

world´s oldest international
match on March 9.
The England vs Scotland was
the first ever official international
football match to be
played. The match took place
on November 30, 1872 at the
West of Scotland Cricket Club´s
Ground, in Patrick, Scotland.
One hundred and forty
years on, the Qatar Stars
League is showcasing the
´auld enemies´ who will kick
off at 3.40 pm, in Al Arabi
Sports Club as a curtain raiser
to the QSL Qatar United
