RasGas woos young talent at career fair in London
TRIBUNE NEWS NETWORK
DOHA ATTRACTING bright, young Qatari talent to become part of RasGas Company Limited was evident at the 2012 UK Career Fair held in London’s Grosvenor House Hotel, over the weekend.
The company’s representatives were at hand to welcome visitors to the fair. Students were encouraged to learn more about the exciting career opportunities, scholarships and internship programmes that the company offers high achievers to further their education and career prospects.
RasGas has been a consistent and prominent supporter of the fair since its early days, and was proud to be back at the event this year as a Gold Sponsor.
The RasGas team discussed with the students various career options available in different departments, and provided them appropriate advice with regard to their qualifications, skills and capabilities.
“We’re delighted to be supporting the UK Career Fair once again. RasGas recognises that the Qatari people are the most important resource for the country’s growth, and that training and education are the foundation for future development. The RasGas stand shows how much value we see in Qatari students,” said RasGas Learning and Development Manager Abdulrahman al Mannai.
“RasGas,” he added “is committed to Qatarisation and has a national development programme in place that is aligned with the Qatar National Vision 2030.” The Fair organised by the Qatari embassy in collaboration with Qatari companies was a two-day event. It included a welcome reception attended by Qatar’s ambassador to the UK as well as senior RasGas officials.
