| | Atopic dermatitis on rise in Qatar | ATOPIC dermatitis, also
known as infantile eczema, is
on the rise among Qatar residents
with the Hamad
Medical Corporation´s
Rumailah Hospital receiving
over 70 cases each month.
Atopic dermatitis is a longterm
(chronic) skin disorder
that involves scaly and itchy
rashes.
Speaking to mediapersons
recently, Dr Noof al Siddiqi,
dermatology specialist at the
Rumailah Hospital said, "We
have high number of cases. It
is the most common skin disorder
among the residents
here. Atopic dermatitis is a
genetic predisposing disease.
It´ is like diabetes the seeds of
which exist in the genes but
may or may not appear in a

School of Abu Dhabi
and the American Embassy
School of Delhi for a threeday
senior fine arts festival.
School students came
together to work in areas of
instrumental music, choral
music, art and drama and created
art forms collectively.
The event culminated with
a gala performance that featured
an 80-strong concert
band, a choir of 50, a student
developed drama presentation
and a creative display of
visual art, titled ´Reflections´
which was highlighted digitally
during the event.
