WHEN Peter Straughan picked up the
Bafta for best adapted screenplay for
Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy, he paid tribute
to his late wife and co-writer,
Bridget O´Connor. "She wrote all the
good bits, I made the coffee," he said. O´Connor died of
cancer in October.

Bachchan, actress Sonam Kapoor is set
to be hosted by Salvatore Ferragamo
as their special guest at Palazzo Spini Feroni,
the historic Florentine headquarters of the
leading luxury brand. She will visit the label´s
headquarter on February 22 as part of the
"Shoes for a Star" project, and get a special,
customised pair of Ferragamo shoes of her
choice.
The daughter of Slumdog Millionaire
actor Anil Kapoor, will also get to sit in the
front row at the autumn-winter 2012 fashion
show in Milan on February 26.
