COLOMBO ‘INDIA through Sri Lankan Eyes’, a photo journey of famous Buddhist sites in India has been showcased at Sri Lanka’s 64th anniversary of independence national exhibition in north central district of Anuradhapura.

To mark the occasion, the Indian High Commission here has also portrayed bilateral partnership through development cooperation by showcasing a number of projects that have already been completed or those that are in various stages of implementation by India through grant assistance or concessionary lines of credit, Indian officials said on Monday.

‘Deyata Kirula’ or the crowning glory of the nation is a development exhibition held annually to mark the anniversary of independence from British colonial rule.

India’s main contribution to the exhibition has been a photographic exhibition titled ‘India through Sri Lankan Eyes’ and a photographic portrayal of the Development Partnership between India and Sri Lanka.
