of smiles to her new team
Specialized-lululemon as the
German won the second stage
of the Ladies Tour of Qatar on
Thursday.
Worrack and her German
compatriot Judith Arndt, the
world time trial champion,
distanced themselves from
the rest about 25 kms before
the finish. Then, there was a
power-packed finish between
the two, with Worrack claiming
the first stage - 101.5-km
between Al Zubara Fort and
Madinat Al Shamal - for the
team.

Masters defending champion
Thomas Björn launched
Dolphin Energy´s donation
programme at the Doha Golf
Club on Thursday.
The programme is a charitable
initiative that raises
money for the Doha based
Shafallah Center for Children
with Special Needs.
Dolphin Energy will use
the scores returned by the
golfers over the four-day
tournament and contribute
QR50 for every birdie scored;
QR500 for every eagle scored
and QR5,000 for every albatross.
