Qatari ace rally driver Nasser bin
Saleh al Attiyah set out on Tuesday in
pursuit of his dream World Rally
Championship debut.
Attiyah, who has joined world
champion team Citroen with legendary
driver Sebastien Loeb and
Mikko Hirvonen, left Doha for his
first test of his car in Sweden, which
will hold the second round of the
WRC series on February 9.
Famed for his daring driving and
big heart, Attiyah has been a former
PWRC champion in 2006. Last year,
he clinched the torturous Dakar
Rally in Volkswagen´s Race Touareg
to become the third Asian winner.
He finished the 2011 with the seventh
