4US American Cafe opens

RAMY SALAMA

DOHA A NEW café offering distinctive America style entertainment, 4US, was opened on Sulaiman bin Wahb street, in Al Sadd area on Tuesday.

Talking to Qatar Tribune at the event, Lawrence Bruce, manager of the restaurant said that the restaurant is the only place in Qatar and the Middle East, to stock Entermann’s cakes and Thomas’ English muffins and bagels.

“Originally, we had not intended to open a restaurant, but to be the sole supplier of these foods in the region. However, we decided to open the cafe in part to act as a showcase for our products,” Bruce said.

“I came here 13 years ago, and I noticed that there was something missing. I couldn’t find any American-style cafe, so I decided to open one myself,” he added.

The restaurant has an upstairs with a lounge suitable for private functions such as parties, dances and seminars and the management also intends to show football games as well as having seminars on different subjects including health and nutrition.
