We bring to you some ideas on decorating your nails best suited for any function or party you are likely to attend.
l Apply some of the razzle dazzle designs to your nails. Use rich colour palette to fuse the different images and shades into a unique nail design.
l Magnetic and crackle nail polishes are the latest inventions when it comes to lacquers and they can definitely be a great aid to an easy yet spectacular manicure. The special effect nail polishes are super easy to use and come in a variety of gorgeous hues that can compliment your style at any event.
l Use crackle nail polish, a special formula that shatters as it dries, leaving a stylish crackle effect. To get the best out of your designs, apply a strong, rich pigmented nail varnish as the base and after the layer is dry, top with a contrasting colour of crackle nail polish.
|Driving a Buick Regal GS is great fun |
|HOW does a European sport sedan dovetail with an American luxury brand that exists because the Chinese want to ride in the back of pillowy four-doors? It's a mind-melting philosophical question, but the answer is simple for the masters of brand management.
After a seven-year sabbatical, the 47-year-old Gran Sport name is back.
The Buick Regal GS has its roots in Europe's Opel Insignia OPC, but don't call this a badge-engineering exercise. Buick opted not to use the OPC's strident 2.8- litre twin-turbo V-6 and Haldex all-wheeldrive system in a play for lower weight and higher fuel economy. Instead, our GS has a high-output version of the Regal Turbo's direct-injected, boosted four-cylinder driving the front wheels. Even so, compared with an Audi A4, the GS is about 200 pounds too heavy (at 3710 pounds) and comes up at least three miles short for every gallon of gas it swills (at 19/27 mpg city/highway).
Dialling the boost pressure from 15 psi to 20 psi pushes power from 220 hp to 270 hp and smooths out some of the awkward surges that plague the Regal Turbo.
|Rihanna a big hit with iTunes generation |
|SHE'S been in the music business just six years, but Rihanna is the Only Girl In the World when it comes to digital sales. The Barbados singer has moved nearly 50 million digital downloads, according to Nielsen Soundscan.
That's more than any other artist in history and five million more than second best sellers, The Black Eyed Peas.
Since her debut album Music of the Sun was released in 2005, Rihanna has moved a total of 47.5 million digital tracks.
In 2011 alone, the You Da One singer sold 13.9 million digital copies.
Regardless of how well her songs perform on iTunes and other download websites, Rihanna's fans are generally not interested in buying her actual CD's.
Her top-selling album, Good Girl Gone Bad, which included the mega-hit Umbrella, has sold only 2.7 million copies in the US to date.
Meantime, none of her other albums has surpassed the two million mark.
Her sixth and latest studio effort, Talk that Talk was released on November 21, 2011.
