QSPE holds lecture on gas extraction
DOHA THE Qatar Society of Petroleum Engineers (QSPE) held a lecture on Wednesday which focused on the extraction of gas from wells with minimal sand production. The lecture was delivered by Mike Gunningham, well, reservoir and facility management advisor at Maersk Oil Qatar. With an MSc in petroleum engineering, Gunningham is also a lecturer with the Society for Petroleum Engineers (SPE) which has given him an opportunity to lecture internationally. CHILDREN ENJOY A DAY OUT AT DOHA TENNIS FESTIVAL
DOHA AFTER hosting pre-school promotional festival for four and five year olds on Wednesday, the Qatar Tennis Federation (QTF) hosted another promotional event for six and seven year olds on the sidelines of the Qatar ExxonMobil Open 2012 on Thursday. Around 850 boys and girls from 13 schools took part in the festival. The session included fun activities in the 'Kid's Zone', face painting, drawing, clown show and fitness demonstration.
