6 qualify for IBQ Communicators Awards final

DOHA THE first qualifying contest for the 6th IBQ Communicators Awards was held recently with 30 participants competing in the ‘International Speech Category’. The contest which was open to all residents aged 18 and above was judged by a panel of senior educators and renowned Toastmasters. The top six qualifiers, who will participate in the grand finale which will take place on November 26 at the Ramada Hotel, are Arunima Beral, Azmat Haroon, Koka Prasad, Nisha Shivram Rasheed, Mohammed Haydar and Vijaya Monteiro. The IBQ Communicator Awards is organised by the ICC-ONE Toastmasters Club under the patronage of IBQ to encourage and promote communication and leadership skills in the community. It is considered to be one of the major calendar events garnering strong local and international interest. ICC-ONE Toastmasters is a member of the Toastmasters International. I
