Upgrade security of defence installations: Gilani

KARACHI Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani on Tuesday directed the concerned to revisit, improve and upgrade the security of all the defence installations.

“There is a need to upgrade the security measures keeping in view the intentions of terrorists,” he observed during his visit to PNS base Mehran on Tuesday.

On the occasion, he was briefed by CNS Admiral Noman Bashir about the operational response of the security personnel against the terrorists.“Whatever possible action is required should be taken as government will extend all support in this behalf,” Gilani said.

The prime minister paid rich tribute to the Jawans of the Navy, Rangers and Police who fought the terrorists with courage and showed spirit of nationalism.
