Syria’s oil output rises 1.2% in Q1
AMMAN Syria produced some 387,000 barrels a day of crude oil during the first quarter of this year, an increase of 1.2 percent compared with the year earlier period, the Syrian oil ministry said.
“The country’s oil production in the first three months of 2011 increased by 4,700 barrels a day to 387,000 barrels a day, over figures for the same period last year,” the ministry said.
