TLG brunch generates QR6,000 for charity

DSM dips 3.26% to 5,948
Qatari bourse tumbled 3.26 percent on Tuesday tracking slump in global stock markets, as oil prices dip to three-year low. The Doha Securities Market benchmark index dipped 200.29 points to 5,947.56, closing in the red for the first time in the past six trading sessions. Analysts say oil prices have psychological effects on the Gulf stock markets.
Oil slumps to $46
Oil prices slumped to just above $46 on Tuesday, reaching the lowest point in almost four years, as global energy demand weakened amid a widespread economic slowdown. London’s InterContinental Exchange , Brent North Sea crude for delivery in January hit $46.02 — the lowest point since February 18, 2005. The light sweet crude for January delivery fell to as low as $47.36 on the New York Mercantile Exchange.
