Grand opening of pedestrian bridge on Al Matar Street

THE Elan Group opened a state-of-the-art pedestrian bridge in Al Matar Street in Doha on Wednesday. The bridge was developed by Elan Group and completed a year ahead of its schedule, and was approved by the Public Works Authority (Ashghal). The 67 metres long and four metres wide bridge has many additional features like space for small shops, ATM machines, vending machines, seating area, bicycle patch, advertising spaces and elevators with a capacity of 1,600kg for 21 people.
