Ashghal Announces Detours on Al Shamal Road


 To facilitate the constructions, Ashghal will close Al Mafyar Interchange on North Road on Wednesday 26 April, .The detour, in collaboration with the General Directorate of Traffic, will run 87 kilometres from Doha and will be in effect for 45 days in order to conclude the constructions in the areas of Athba and Jary Lehmaidat alongside Al Mafyar Interchange.

Eng Ahmed Mohammed Al Sada, assistant undersecretary for environment affairs at the Ministry of Municipality and Environment, kicked off the program with a speech in which he said the program is held within the joint cooperation between the ministry's natural reserves department and the UNESCO Office in Doha in order to carry out the national program to prepare a comprehensive administrative plan for Al Reem Biosphere Reserve.

Chairman of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC Qatar) HE Sheikh Khalifa bin Jassim bin Mohammed Al Thani, who is also Chairman of Qatar Chamber and Executive Board Member of ICC International Secretariat said Sunday that ICC Qatar was keen on promoting interests of the Qatari private sector in international forums such as G-20 and in the United Nations.
